ACT Airlines Chooses navAero for iPad EFB Systems

navAero announced that ACT Airlines has chosen the navAero iPad Air Class 2 EFB system as the platform of choice for their electronic flight bag initiative.

The highly adaptable navAero iPad “Smart” Mount system with the integrated power interface module will be deployed to provide an installed platform for holding the iPad device as well as supply certified connectivity to aircraft power for device charging. The integrated system will allow ACT to realize maximum functionality of the iPad Air tablet as a deployed Class 2 EFB platform. The ACT EFB program will be implemented on both their Airbus A300 and Boeing B747 fleets with first installations planned to take place in second quarter, 2014.
