AJW Group has signed a new power-by-the-hour agreement with the private Egyptian airline, AlMasria Universal Airlines.
AJW Group has managed the complete supply, repair and overhaul of rotable components for AlMasria’s fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft since 2012, and will now provide power-by-the-hour support for its A330 fleet.
“AlMasria’s A330 aircraft is the first of its type in the region, and we are delighted to continue working alongside and supporting AlMasria and their growing fleet,” Christopher Whiteside, president and CEO of AJW Group says. “AJW will continue to provide the industry-renowned support we have given the airline for over five years, with our proven track record in PBH contracts.”
AlMasria Universal Airlines, which is headquartered in Cairo, launched operations in June 2009 and operates scheduled, charter and cargo flights domestically to Italy, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
“As an evolving airline it is crucial we have the right support,” Ahmed Gad of AlMasria Universal Airlines, commented. “Strengthening our partnership with AJW will provide the expert, flexible and highly-tailored support we need to grow our operations.”
