Comtek Advanced Structures announced the addition of the Cam guide to their product inventory; a small metallic part that attaches to the wing flap to guide the path/motion the flaps move through when in use. Comtek’s latest PDA part has been approved and accepted by the TCCA, FAA and EASA.
Comtek provides a two-year warranty on material and workmanship for the Cam guide, and at approximately half the price of its current OEM cost, provides a cost-effective solution to operators.
Comtek says it has developed a long-lasting product that maximizes efficiency. The Cam Guides are designed with a layer of hardened coating that is wear resistant, increases durability and reduces the rate of replacement. The installation requires no aircraft modification.
