Delta Air Lines’ maintenance division, Delta TechOps, was recognized by Aircraft Technology Engineering & Maintenance (ATE&M) Magazine, a leading aerospace publication, as the “Best Airframe MRO Provider in the Americas” and the “Best Engine MRO Provider” for 2011. Recipients of ATE&M Awards, announced May 4 during a ceremony at the 2011 Airline Purchasing & Maintenance Expo in London, were chosen by customers and industry peers who selected the airline’s MRO as the best provider in both categories based on its reputation and brand, as well as the expertise, professionalism and skills of its technicians. “The men and women of Delta’s Technical Operations are the driving force behind the success of our growing MRO business,” said Tony Charaf, president – Delta TechOps. “Their airline industry knowledge, maintenance skills and flexibility are clearly establishing Delta TechOps as an MRO provider of excellence.
