Spairliners, a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik and Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance, proudly announces the appointment of Abdelouahab El Fettouhi as its new Managing Director and CEO, starting from March 1, 2024. He joins Michael Vollrath, who remains Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer, as both jointly head the executive board of the leading component provider in the E-Jets after sales market. Abdel brings a wealth of expertise to Spairliners, having previously held several key positions at Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance, which enables him to lead Spairliners into the next phase of innovation and operational excellence.
From Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance to Leading Spairliners
With a distinguished career spanning over 15 years at Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance, Abdel has made significant contributions across various key roles, including customer support director, middle east sales director, technical sales manager, supply chain manager, and purchasing manager. His extensive knowledge and experience in the aviation industry play a pivotal role in driving Spairliners’ ongoing success. Abdel holds a master’s degree in engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers and an advanced Master’s degree from ESSEC Business School. His academic background, coupled with hands-on experience, provides him with a unique blend of skills beneficial for navigating the complexities of the aviation service industry.
