Elliott Aviation Hires Mike Fetcko as Avionics Manager

Elliott Aviation announced the addition of Mike Fetcko as Avionics Manager to the Elliott Aviation team in the Quad Cities.

Fetcko brings nearly 20 years of avionics experience to Elliott Aviation beginning with his tour of duty in the U. S. Navy in 1994 as an avionics technician working on F18s. His civilian career started in 1998 with Duncan Aviation where he was an avionics installation technician and systems engineer. Following his term with Duncan, Fetcko worked as a systems design engineer with Great Lakes Aviation and as a private contractor.

“I’m looking forward to working with the highly-skilled avionics team at Elliott Aviation,” said Fetcko. “They have a high-level of experience and attention to detail in the avionics department that sets them apart from most companies, by doing such things as building all wiring harnesses in house and using the latest laser technology for wiring identification. I’m hoping to use my experience to find ways to improve productivity, reduce downtime and focus on new product developments in the field.”

“Mike has a very strong background in all aspects of avionics,” said Rich Baeder, VP and general manager for Elliott Aviation’s Moline headquarters. “His technical, managerial and leadership experience will further enhance our position as being an industry leader in avionics modifications and installations.”

Fetcko will be located at Elliott Aviation headquarters in Moline, IL.
