Eznis Airways Selects Swiss-AS’ MRO Software System AMOS

In summer 2011, Eznis Airways selected AMOS as their new MRO software package and promptly launched the implementation in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The introduction of AMOS coincides with the phasing in of two Avro RJ85 aircraft and moving into a new hangar. AMOS is considered a long-time investment that will help Eznis Airways consolidate its maintenance processes and at the same time develop its in-house maintenance capacity with the ultimate goal of performing inhouse C-checks in two years time.

“The AMOS implementation is one big step for the improvement of our airworthiness and safety. So we will be very glad to announce the AMOS project to our customers and authority,” says Chinzorig B., training manager/Maintenance & Engineering Division at Eznis Airways.

Due to the limited number of AMOS users at Eznis Airways, the implementation will be very lean and fast. In August and September 2011, the users completed the AMOS basic e-learning course, followed by a two week “System Awareness” session and the next step will be to conduct workshops. The current project schedule predicts AMOS will go-live in December 2011.
As the 20th AMOS Operation Service (AOS) customer, Eznis Airways has also signed up for this service which relieves them from any workload regarding AMOS server operations and database administration while relying on a proven service delivered by Swiss-AS.
