Stephen P. Farrell Sr. has joined Aviation & Marketing International, Inc. ( AMI ) to serve as the company’s vice president of technical services.Farrell has 28 years of experience in the aviation industry, starting his career in the United States Air Force as a jet engine mechanic. He transitioned into Business Aviation engine MRO as an overhaul/heavy shop technician with line maintenance experience on many types of business aviation aircraft and rose through the ranks to management.
He comes most recently from StandardAero, with well over two decades of becoming an expert on the TFE731 engine. He is the recipient of the company’s 1st C3 challenge coin for breaking the glass ceiling on TFE731 heavy maintenance and pioneering the FastLane process to significantly reduce engine turnaround times to an industry leading level.
Stephen currently sits on the Global Customer Committee (GCC), an independent group of business aviation professionals that works jointly with Honeywell to bring about improvements in aircraft, equipment, operations and services.
