FL Technics Spare Parts Acquires Another Airbus A320 for Tear Down

FL Technics Spare Parts, a part of the global provider of integrated aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services FL Technics, has purchased another Airbus A320 (MSN391) to be torn down for parts and components. The disassembled aircraft components will be used to establish a wider range of aircraft spare parts and components stock across Europe as well as to expand FL Technics warehouse portfolio capabilities.

FL Technics decision to acquire an additional Airbus A320 was determined not only by the rapidly increasing demand for parts and components of this particular type of aircraft in Central and Eastern Europe as well as the CIS markets, but also by the objective to maintain an extensive aircraft spare parts assortment in the company’s warehouses in Warsaw, Vilnius, Kuala Lumpur and Moscow. The acquired aircraft will be disassembled locally in the Netherlands.
‘The latest acquisition proves that whilst being orientated towards the new generation aircraft we also constantly expand our services for the industry ‘classics’ – Airbus A320 and Boeing 737. In 2010-2011 we made sufficient strategic investments into our stocks, by dismantling 15 different aircraft. In order to ensure that we can offer our clients an even wider range of spare parts and components solutions in the future, we are planning to continue acquiring new aircraft for tear down with up to 10 aircraft to be dismantled before the end of this year,’ commented the head of Components and Materials Sales Department FL Technics, Paulius Kavaliauskas.
