GA Telesis Promotes Tuttle to COO and Bauer to SVP

GA Telesis (GAT) has promoted Alex Tuttle to chief operating officer and Andreas Bauer, Ph.D., to senior vice president, Operations, Logistics and Quality. Both positions will report to Jason Reed, president, Component Solutions Group (CSG).

Bringing over 22 years of aviation engine management and operations experience, Tuttle joined GAT in 2002 and has held several positions of increasing responsibility, the most recent as vice president of the Engine Solutions Group (ESG). As COO, Tuttle will be responsible for oversight of all engine and airframe product line sales, asset management and disposition, procurement, repair and repair management, as well as all flight hour program activities.

“Alex has been a leader from day one and this promotion represents a testament to his knowledge, experience, respect and trust within the aviation aftermarket community,” said Jason Reed, president, CSG. “He has been a critical component to CSG’s growth over the last 17 years and I am confident that Alex will continue to excel in his mission to ensure the success of the company’s customers,” he added.

Bauer’s experience in aviation operations management, inventory control, logistics and quality control spans the greater part of 20 years, five of those at GAT. With this promotion, Bauer will expand his responsibilities from his previous position as VP, Operations, Logistics & Quality Control to include Quality Assurance and Facilities management under his realm.

“Andreas brings an incredible amount of creativity, insight, know-how and efficiency to our global distribution operations every day. With the business nearly doubling in the last three years, Andreas has exceeded all aspects of our operational requirements throughout that growth while maintaining the highest levels of delivery performance to our end customers,” said Reed.
