GA Telesis, Tokyo Century Corporation and All Nippon Airways Trading Company form Gateway Engine Leasing JV to Focus on Global Long-Term Jet Engine Leasing Demand

GA Telesis announced that together with its shareholders Tokyo Century Corporation  and ANA Trading Corp., U.S.A have formed Gateway Engine Leasing to capitalize on the rising demand from airlines worldwide for long-term jet engine leases.

Initially headquartered out of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Gateway has plans to rapidly expand to Europe and Asia. Gateway will commence operations with an initial seed portfolio consisting of V2500, CFM56-5B, and CF6-80E engines already on lease.

In October it was announced that Tokyo Century had substantially increased its shareholding in GA Telesis, and that ANATC had acquired a minority stake, by together acquiring the position previously held by shareholder Global Principal Finance Company.
