GlobalAir.com Upgrades Their FBO Rating System

Aviators can now more accurately rate their experiences when shopping for fixed-based operators (FBOs) at GlobalAir.com. The new five-star rating system provides quick, easy feedback for users when comparing fuel prices or reviewing weather conditions with GlobalAir.com’s Airport Resource Center (ARC). Pilots can view the ratings on each FBO’s page to get the overall score, or select the rating system to view a more detailed rating of the facilities’ cleanliness, front desk and line services, competitiveness of fuel price, and the pilot amenities. With one more click, they can add their own ratings easily. This breakdown of services, ranked individually, creates a more accurate overall picture of each FBO’s strengths, aiding both the discerning aviator and the quality FBO to find each other.

“This is a logical step in allowing aviators to share their experiences,” shared Jeffrey Carrithers, President and CEO of GlobalAir.com, “Users can now anonymously vote on how well the FBO performs their services.” Carrithers adds, “It’s as fast and as easy as it has been to navigate, but now with an added depth for pilots, flight departments, schedulers and dispatchers can make smart decisions on the locations to where they wish to fly.”
