Investor Wanted for German Aircraft Maintenance Company

For economic reasons, the management of German Aircraft Maintenance GmbH (GAM) had to file for insolvency at the beginning of June 2019. Hans-Achim Ernst, a lawyer based in Herford, was appointed as provisional insolvency administrator.

After stabilising the operational business, the provisional insolvency administrator now has initiated a structured search for investors: “Our clear objective is to maintain GAM at its current location,” Ernst explains. “We are confident that we can offer a suitable starting for a strategic buyer with our existing skilled workers with many years of expertise.

“Our focus in the search for investors is on strategic interested parties from the field of aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO)” adds Uwe Borgers from MENTOR AG, who is in charge to implement the search for investors. “GAM could also be a suitable complementary maintenance base for airlines and leasing companies seeking spare capacity. “

Active interested parties can contact MENTOR AG directly for further information. Contact persons are: Uwe Borgers at uwe.borgers@mentor.ag or Sebastian Schmitt at sebastian.schmitt@mentor.ag.
