Lufthansa Technik signed a five-year agreement with their long-term customer Finnair and its partner, the regional airline Nordic Regional Airlines (Norra). The agreement comprises the maintenance of 25 CF34-10 engines, operated by Finnair’s preferred partner Norra. The company says this is a further step to strengthen their partnership with both Finnair and Norra.
The signing ceremony took place at Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey’s facility on November 7th, 2022, with attendance of Finnair’s and Norra’s management, LTAA’s management and employees.
“We always want to challenge our suppliers to find innovative and cost-effective solutions. The new agreement answers the call and we’re happy to continue our long-lasting cooperation with LTAA”, says Marko Anttila, head of engine business area.
“We are pleased to continue our strong relationship with LTAA. This new agreement allows us to work together to ensure safe and reliable operations in the future,” adds Janne Tarvainen, managing director at Nordic Regional Airlines.
“This is the next milestone in our long-lasting relationship with Finnair and Norra, and we are happy to explore new and innovative concepts in terms of turn-around time with a technically very experienced partner – that makes us strong together,” said Tobias Baumgart, COO of LTAA.
