Meeker-Airfilm announced they have received FAA STC for their new
Cessna 172/182 and 206 Wing Strut mount. The Wing Strut mount comes in two
versions, the standard mount and the mini mount. Both mounts require no permanent
modifications to the airframe and fit over the existing strut. The maximum payload is
limited to 50lbs and 10lbs for the mini and are intended for various camera systems,
searchlights, lidar, antennae etc.
