Mikros Systems Awarded ISO 9001:2015 Certification

Mikros Systems, an advanced technology company specializing in electronic systems technology for advanced maintenance in military, industrial and commercial applications, announced that effective July 9, 2018, Mikros Systems Quality Management System (QMS) was certified to be compliant with ISO 9001:2015 standards.  The ISO audit found zero non-conformances at the Mikros facilities in both Fort Washington, Penn. and Largo, Fla. Both facilities earned certification under ISO 9001:2008 in 2015 and have been audited and certified since that time by Orion Registrar Inc.

Earlier this year, the Mikros QMS was also recertified by the Naval Sea Systems Command as compliant to NAVSEA quality specifications 9090-310F and standard item 009-04. This Navy certification enables Mikros to form shipboard Alteration Installation Teams (AITs) and perform shipboard equipment installation and maintenance tasks. The new ISO 9001:2015 certification extends the NAVSEA certification to the leading industry-standard and applies across all Mikros business processes.

“We are delighted to announce this newest certification to ISO 9001:2015 and believe it reflects the importance we attach to quality in both development and manufacturing at Mikros,” said Mark Malone, Mikros president. “Our Quality Management System helps us to exceed our customer’s expectations in all areas and is also an important capability to support the continued growth of the company.”
