Helmut Neuper took over the role of president and CEO of MTU Maintenance Canada at the beginning of September. His previous position was as chief operating officer of Airfoil Services, a post he held for nearly three years. This is a joint venture company between MTU Maintenance and Lufthansa Technik.
Neuper holds a degree in aeronautical engineering as well as an executive MBA and has worked in various positions within MTU and related companies throughout his career. He has gained extensive knowledge of the company’s location in Vancouver, Canada, most recently during his time as director of accessory business from 2007-2013. “Helmut Neuper has twenty years’ experience in the MRO industry and we are delighted that he is taking on the challenge of running such a key location for MTU,” said Rainer Martens, chief operating officer (COO), MTU Aero Engines.
