Ontic Providing MRO Support For King Air Series Turboprop Aircraft

Ontic is offering component-level MRO support for the King Air Series turboprop aircraft. The King Air support is being managed at Ontic’s MRO facility in Houston, Texas and further expands the company’s presence in the business aircraft arena.

The service offering covers the repair and overhaul of the aircraft’s landing gear, flight controls and ancillary structures including airframe structural and sheet metal work, oxygen containment and distribution systems, environmental and pneumatic controls, as well as mechanical power transfer systems.

Ontic’s legacy and mature business jet and turboprop component and systems focus is also supported from manufacturing and MRO facilities in Chatsworth, California; Slough and Cheltenham in the United Kingdom; and a fifth Ontic Asia-Pacific regional location opening this year in Singapore.

“The ability of our global group to provide the “value-added” support experience to manage a diverse MRO portfolio for the business jet and turboprop platforms and engine industry covers a broad range of product and systems categories,” Peg Billson, president of BBA Aviation’s Ontic, noted. “These include: electronics, avionics, environmental control systems; control and actuation systems; landing gear; hydraulic and pneumatic components and systems; heat transfer units; power generators; emergency oxygen systems and fuel control systems.”
