Riveer, a maker of wash racks and decontamination systems, has announced the release of their newest corrosion control aircraft wash system, the WINGMAN. WINGMAN is an electric hot water foam and rinse system designed for in-hangar washing of fixed wing and rotary aircraft.
WINGMAN helps squadrons comply with guidelines (TM 1-1500-344-23-2, TO 1-1-691, NAVAIR 01-1A-509-1) that require aircraft wash and rinse on a regulated basis. The WINGMAN is equipped with 500 gallons of hot water at 140 Degrees Fahrenheit delivered at aircraft safe water pressure to water driven into mechanical struts, avionics panels and air frame seams resulting in long-term, irreversible damage.
Ideal for commercial and military aircraft maintenance, WINGMAN is a plug and play system, and requires no hangar modification for fast installation and start up. The total electric system uses MIL Spec connections for water and electricity found in hangars for ground support system.
The WINGMAN comes equipped with 2 rinse guns for extended reach from the deck, resulting in less need for lifts and ladders.
