Schaeffler is unifying their corporate presentation around the Schaeffler corporate brand. The company is changing the names of Schaeffler affiliates that currently do not reference the brand already. Effective immediately the names of the following companies in North America have been officially changed: FAG Aerospace is now Schaeffler Aerospace Canada; The Barden Corporation is now Schaeffler Aerospace USA Corp; LuK Transmission Systems is now Schaeffler Transmissions Systems; and LuK USA is now Schaeffler Transmissions.
“Please be assured that our individual brands – including INA, LuK and FAG – will be retained and will continue to play a vital role in delivering the trusted Schaeffler products and solutions our customers have prized for generations. We want to emphasize that this action reflects only a name change for certain legal entities, not an organization or structural change,” a statement by Keith Mackey, VP Purchasing for Schaeffler said in a statement.
All existing contracts and purchase orders will remain in full force and effect, the company says.
