Shanghai Hawker Pacific Completes Installation and Operational Set-Up of Corridor Maintenance Software

After being approved as a Part 145 Maintenance Organization by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), Shanghai Hawker Pacific Business Aviation Service Centre has completed the first installation of CORRIDOR Aviation Service Software in mainland China.

The software went fully operational on 19 October 2012 in Shanghai. This event was the first time a software designed for business aviation maintenance was used in mainland China.  The start up of CORRIDOR is the result of nearly a year’s worth of work and preparation by both Shanghai Hawker Pacific Business Aviation Service Centre and Continuum Applied Technology, developers of CORRIDOR Software.

The Civil Aviation Authority of China, CAAC, reviewed and tested the software prior to installation for approval of its use at the MRO.

SHPBASC worked with Continuum to modify parts of the program to reflect Chinese language requirements for the reporting process.  After several months of training and installation, the software is now used throughout the company’s aircraft maintenance facilities.
