StandardAero Recognized by Rolls-Royce for the 2022 “FIRST Class Service” and “Outstanding Partnership” Awards During Annual FIRST Network Recognition Event

StandardAero was recognized by Rolls-Royce during its annual FIRST (Fully Integrated Rolls-Royce Support Team) NetworkRecognition event with the 2022 “FIRST Class Service” and “Outstanding Partnership” awards on March 7.  The awards program, held during the annual HAI/HeliExpo show, recognizes significant achievements of authorized maintenance service centers that provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for M250 and RR300 helicopter engines operated by thousands of customers worldwide.

StandardAero was awarded two out of four Rolls-Royce awards this year with the legacy StandardAero Helicopters business unit winning the “FIRST Class Service” award and the newly acquired H+S Aviation (a StandardAero company), receiving the “Outstanding Partnership” award.  2022 marked the 13th consecutive year that StandardAero has received one or more Rolls-Royce FIRST Network awards.

The 2022 “FIRST Class Customer” award represents the facility that continually goes above and beyond to meet Rolls-Royce M250 and RR300 engine MRO customers needs and that continually demonstrates a “can-do” mind set; proactively working with customers to overcome challenges, anticipating their needs and implementing creative solutions to keep their customers in the air.

The 2022 “Outstanding Partnership” award recognizes the facility that is an enabling partner and integral to the overall success of the Rolls-Royce FIRST Network.  This facility is critical to market success by consistently developing innovative and cost-effective capability to support the operators the FIRST Network and Rolls-Royce.

“Standard Aero continues to provide world-class service and reliability that is synonymous with the Rolls-Royce brand.  We appreciate the creative solutions Standard Aero brings to our M250 and RR300 customer base.  Standard Aero can always be trusted to offer quick and effective plans to keep our customers flying and therefore have earned a strong reputation in the MRO business.  Rolls-Royce looks forward to our continued partnership with the outstanding team at Standard Aero,” said Scott Cunningham, Rolls-Royce program director, helicopters.

“We are extremely appreciative and also humbled to be recognized again this year by our trusted partners and customers at Rolls-Royce,” said Peter Wheatley, vice president & GM of StandardAero’s helicopters business unit.  “The awards are a testament to the hardworking teams in our shops around the world and recognition of their commitment to operational excellence, quality and outstanding customer service.”
