Tronair has announced an agreement to manufacture and support ground support test equipment for UTC Aerospace Systems’ ram air turbine (RAT) products. UTC Aerospace Systems is a unit of United Technologies Corp.
Under the terms of the three-year exclusive licensing agreement, Tronair will provide ground test tools for aircraft maintenance of all RAT products of UTC Aerospace Systems and Hamilton Sundstrand.
“After several years of solid relationship, this agreement is the natural progression for UTC Aerospace Systems and Tronair to bring a comprehensive support package for RAT testers to the global aviation market,” says Harley Kaplan, president and CEO of Tronair.
Tronair manufactures ground support equipment for the global aviation market. The company is based in Holland, Ohio and has been in operation for 42 years.
