Two Delta aircraft struck one another at the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Intl. Airport last week. The incident happened around 10pm Tuesday evening by the departure gates. About 300 people were aboard both aircraft but no injuries were reported. Both jets were taxiing out for departure, one to Pensacola, Fla. and the other to Los Angeles, Calif.
“Our maintenance teams will address the condition of the aircraft and there are no ensuing difficulties to our schedules or operations today,” a company spokesperson said the next morning.
