A quick thinking TSA officer grabbed a smoking bag off of the the conveyor belt just after it had been scanned. The Savannah, Georgia TSA checkpoint was having a day like any other when a bag began smoking as it came through the scanner. Officer Darrell Wade saw the smoke and grabbed the bag. He headed out to an exterior stairwell with the bag, ensuring the safety of passengers and fellow officers at the checkpoint.
Imagine the destruction possible if onboard an aircraft either in the cabin or in the baggage compartment. Be warned, vape pens are becoming more popular by the day.
