Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services-North America (Vector), a subsidiary of Vector Aerospace Corporation ?and one of the world’s leading providers of helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services announces the expansion of its Andalusia, Alabama facilities. The grand opening scheduled for March, 2012.
Rick Pataky, vice-president of operations at the Andalusia operation explains that the current 38,000 square-foot repair and overhaul facility; opened on December 3rd, 2008 has been challenged with capacity issues in recent years due to Vector’s continued growth. In particular, Pataky identified the necessity to expand Vector’s TH-57 and TH-67 overhaul lines in support of ongoing U. S. Navy and U. S. Army programs, as well as expansion of the company’s UH-1 Upgrade Program.
Vector has operated the Andalusia, Alabama operation since 2004 serving a mix of defense and commercial operators throughout North America. The company says it has continued to experience steady business growth via a continually expanding customer base consisting of both of defense and commercial operators.
