AvAir Director Receives Prestigious Industry Award

Aviation aftermarket inventory solutions provider AvAir, announced that Jared Knights, director of quality assurance at AvAir, has received the Edward J. Glueckler award from the Aviation Suppliers Association.

Each year, the Edward J. Glueckler Award is given to an individual in recognition of outstanding commitment, dedication and contribution to the ASA and the aviation industry. Nominees are submitted by their industry peers and the ASA Board of Directors makes the final selection.

The award is named for Edward J. Glueckler, ASA’s founder and first president. In honor of Glueckler’s outstanding contributions to the industry, the ASA Board of Directors selects a recipient who exemplifies his vision and enthusiasm.

“Continuing to honor the legacy of Edward Glueckler through this award is something me and my team are very passionate about,” said Michele Dickstein, president of ASA. “Jared is a valued member of ASA’s Quality Committee Leadership board and is an excellent representation of what this award is about.”

“I’m honored to receive this award and recognition – especially coming from the ASA, a group I greatly respect, admire and enjoy working with,” said Knights. “Having worked in this industry for more than a decade, aiming to support AvAir’s growth and success, awards and public recognition aren’t something I seek, so it was a surprise and honor to receive this.”
