FL Technics is expanding its landing gear activities by closing a recent set of deals worth more than €1 million (about $1.3 million). Launched as a separate division in the beginning of 2012, FL Technics Landing Gear has successfully conducted this year a number of Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 landing gear sales deals with clients from Europe, Russian and the CIS. Some of the provided landing gears were dismantled from aircraft acquired by the company for tear down in 2011.
“We are very delighted to see our clients increasing confidence in our landing gear services. We have not only provided our clients with the required undercarriage for A320 and B737 aircraft, but also assisted them in acquiring landing gear for other types of aircraft as well,” comments Arturas Semenikas, the head of Components Management Department. “Without any doubt, this is a successful year for us. In the upcoming year we are planning to significantly expand our operations by acquiring additional landing gear for the subsequent tear down into its component parts, thus ensuring even wider spare parts support for our clients worldwide.”
