Aviation Technical Services (ATS) announced that ATS COO Paul Dolan was appointed to the Department of Defense Business Board. The Defense Business Board provides the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Defense, as well as other senior leaders, independent and objective advice which reflects an outside private sector perspective on best business practices for consideration and potential application to the department. In this appointed position, Dolan will join other business leaders in providing independent advice on Department of Defense management, business processes, and governance from a private sector perspective.
“ATS is proud to have a seasoned executive leadership team, and Paul Dolan exemplifies the highest level of expertise as our Chief Operating Officer,” said ATS CEO Matt Yerbic. “ATS recognizes Paul’s talents, but it is clear that he has impressed others in the business community as well. To be appointed to the Defense Business Board is a testament to his experience of over 20 years in the industry and in the military.”
Paul joined ATS as chief commercial officer in early 2106. Prior to ATS, Dolan held executive leadership positions with Chromalloy and served for nine years in the U.S. Navy as an F/A-18 Strike Fighter Pilot. He has an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, a MS in Aeronautical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a BS with distinction in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy.
