Lufthansa Technik Shenzhen is expanding its service portfolio. The German-Chinese company is strengthening its capabilities in the fields of component repair and composite repair (Airframe Related Components, ARC) as well as engine part repair. Additionally, Lufthansa Technik says extending its Logistics Services, mobile engine services, the Airline Support Team (AST), will reinforce its position in the Asia Pacific region.
Lufthansa Technik Shenzhen recently built facilities to support the Airbus A350, Boeing 777 and Boeing 787. For 2018, A350 capability will include components such as thrust reverser actuator, hydraulic pumps and batteries. The facility employs 600 workers.
