Monarch Aircraft Engineering Training Academy (MAETA) reports it had a very successful turn out for their first ever open evening, held last week, to highlight the next intake of apprenticeships.
More than 100 young adults arrived from all over the UK to visit the leading independent MRO provider’s Luton-based Training Academy to learn more. This follows MAETA’s announcement that it would double its intake from 20 to 40 apprentices for 2018/2019.
MAETA’s staff members and first year apprentices welcomed the future engineering students and gave them an insight into the four-year program as well as a tour around the facility.
The application process closes on the April 20, 2018. Successful candidates will complete a course of training to obtain work related experience and qualifications to ensure that they are able to carry out the role of an aircraft maintenance engineer.
