Thomas Global Systems has appointed Robert Pandis as Vice President of Business Development. Based in the Company’s Irvine, California office, Robert Pandis’ role at Thomas Global Systems will focus on the business development of military markets in North America. This appointment comes at a time when Thomas Global Systems is expanding its team and operations within its North American operation based in Irvine, California in both commercial and military markets. “Since the opening of our Irvine facility in September 2013, the Company’s industry position as the global leader in long term avionic cockpit CRT display support has been firmly secured. Our 2015 launch of a family of innovative plug-and- play LCD display upgrade solutions to replace existing CRTs in the military and civil aircraft markets, and our recent alliance agreement with L-3 Communications to develop certain CRT-to- LCD display upgrade products, firmly situate Thomas Global as a leading player in cockpit display upgrade solutions which are ADS-B ready, highly reliable, and affordable,” President (USA) Andrew Hutchinson explains. “In addition to this, our high performance solutions and strong investment in key research areas in land based, submarine and defense aviation platforms, have solidified our position as a recognized leader in the defense industry.” Robert will coordinate in developing Thomas Global’s unique market offering in respect to specialized defense electronics solutions – including the development and supply of tactical targeting displays into major prime contractors and armed forces globally, as well as customized mission system solutions across land, air and sea domains. Robert’s role will focus in particular on the development of the Company’s ground vehicle display systems offering, including CRT, LCD and Micro Projection Technologies, Next Generation and HD Digital Displays. “The development of a highly skilled team at Irvine to supplement our facility in Sydney, Australia, further reinforces Thomas Global’s commitment to supporting its North American and European customers,” Andrew Hutchinson comments. “Robert comes on board at an exciting time in the organization’s growth trajectory.”
