Aerospace recruitment specialists, Aeropeople, will be attending the Career Transitioning Partnerships’ recruitment fair next week to help exiting military personnel find civilian job roles.
The CTP Employment Fair takes place in Southampton, UK on Tuesday, October 8 and is expected to attract hundreds of military personnel, who are either currently serving, or have served, in any rank in the RAF, Army, Navy or Marines.
Aeropeople will be highlighting a range of roles for individuals who could transfer their skills to vacancies in civilian aviation at a number of locations in UK and Europe, or to its parent company, Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group, an independent aerospace and defence MRO company in the UK.
“Ex-military engineers have excellent skills that industries really prize,” said Aeropeople managing director, Ian Peart. “More than 14,000 leave the armed forces every year, which is an amazing pool of talent, containing individuals who are great team players and have excellent communication and organizational skills.”
Aeropeople has roles across engineering, logistics and general support functions, and are hoping to speak to military personnel who are exiting imminently, next year, or have already left and regardless of time served.
The company is based in Cambridge, but also has offices in Europe and the Middle East, and works to fill full and part-time vacancies around the world.
