OGMA and EMBRAER Defense and Security have signed a partnership agreement for the KC-390 aircraft Development Program.
The contracted work package covers the industrialization, production and product support phases of the KC-390 central fuselage panels, elevators, fairings and landing-gear doors.
This contract further establishes OGMA participation in the development phase, as well as supporting to Embraer during the aircraft certification phase.
The firmed agreement represents an opportunity for OGMA to play a role in a long-term program, partnering with Embraer, by supplying high value-added part segments.
Production of the first KC-390 prototype is to begin in 2013 and the aircraft maiden flight is scheduled for 2014.
