Avianor Announces Management Changes

Earl Diamond and Sylvain Savard, co-owners of Avianor Inc, are pleased to announce the following management changes effective August 1, 2013.

Sylvain Bedard, president and CEO of the company has stepped down to accept a position as CEO of another prominent Quebec aerospace company. In over a year at Avianor, Bedard introduced new organizational reporting and monitoring standards. Bedard has agreed to join the company’s newly created “Advisory Board” as a way of continuing to participate in the growth of Avianor.

As well, the company’s vice president of Sales, Virginia Taborda, has resigned as she is relocating to another country.

Earl Diamond will assume the role of CEO and oversee all sales efforts. Sylvain Savard will continue as chairman; he will also assume the interim role of (newly created) executive vice president, Operations. Paul Costanzo, currently CFO, will take on the additional role of executive vice pesident, Administration.
