Hartzell Propeller Inc. has earned its AS9100:2004 Rev B. Aerospace Quality Standard Certification and its ISO 9001:2008 certification as part of their ongoing quality improvement program. The scope of these certifications includes all aspects of the designing, manufacturing, service and support processes for aircraft propellers and control systems. “Consistently having a strong FAA-authorized quality system has always been a pillar of strength for Hartzell,” said Joe Brown, president of Hartzell Propeller. ‘’We’ve developed, certified and maintained our products under its rigorous requirements. By incorporating the AS9100 and ISO9100 elements into our quality management system, it’s easier for our customers to do business with us since these certifications are rapidly becoming prerequisites.”
