Air Maintenance, TAM, has been approved by the US Federal Aviation Administration, FAA, as a certified repair station, which in effect corresponds to the EASA Part-145 approval already in place. “I am very glad we have got this approval as it reinforces our position as the leading Saab 340 and Saab 2000 support organization,” says Pär Gulle, TAM Managing Director. “We are now allowed to conduct engine, airframe and component maintenance with an EASA Form One dual release for EASA and FAA. This will significantly increase our global market possibilities for various heavy maintenance programs we execute at our main base in Örebro, Sweden,” Gulle summarizes.
