Virgin Atlantic Chooses AFI KLM E&M for A330 Component Support

Virgin Atlantic has contracted with AFI KLM E&M for component support on its new A330 fleet, extending the long-standing relationship between the two partners. The first aircraft was delivered in February 2011 with the last of the ten new aircraft being handed over in late 2012. The deal involves component repair, pool access and a main base kit at London Heathrow. Being the main maintenance service provider for the Virgin Atlantic fleet, AFI KLM E&M benefited from the UK carrier’s satisfaction with pre-existing engine, components and airframe structure maintenance  for Virgin’s Boeing 747-400 and A340 fleet.
