Egyptair Maintenance & Engineering hangars have received the first aircraft of the Portuguese carrier Hi Fly. The A340 arrived at Cairo station for D-Check that lasts till mid-June. The Portuguese engineer in site, Mr. Ricardo Real, stated that it is the first cooperation in the field of MRO and heavy maintenance between Egyptair M & E and Hi Fly.
“Basically, the great experience and the good reputation of Egyptair Maintenance & Engineering were the main reasons to build this business relationship” he added. “There is a possibility to increase cooperation in the near future as Egyptair Maintenance & Engineering has great capabilities and massive facilities.”
“The cooperation is part of the expansion plans of opening more horizons in the European market based on the company’s obtained approvals and certifications,” Egyptair Maintenance & Engineering Chairman and CEO Eng. Said El Makkawy said. “The recently renewed approvals played a major role in attracting more new customers.”
