Oakenhurst Aircraft Services Ltd is to provide fast turnaround repair services for aviation headset specialist Sennheiser UK. The newly signed agreement, which takes effect immediately, will see Oakenhurst provide warranty and non-warranty repairs for the Sennheiser UK range of premium headsets used by pilots and air traffic controllers.
Sennheiser UK distributes the NoiseGard range of noise-cancelling headsets for airline and general aviation pilots as well as a family of passive headsets for pilots and controllers.
The headsets are used by both professional airline pilots and general aviation pilots alike. This general aviation sector will extend Oakenhurst’s offering in the aviation headset repair market.
Oakenhurst, are currently a repair centre for Sennheiser commercial aviation headsets. This new agreement will extend the warranty and non warranty services offered to all Sennheiser aviation headsets customers. This agreement will provide additional benefits to Sennheiser UK customers in not only offering the highest standards of repairs through Oakenhurst Aircraft Services Ltd, but also by improving the overall service repair experience and reducing turnaround times.
Oakenhurst will increase the number of Sennheiser trained engineers ensuring that customers can expect the highest quality repair. All headset repairs will be conducted at Oakenhurst’s facility in Rayleigh, Essex which can provide dual FAR/EASA Part 145-approved repairs.
