Sunwing Airlines and AFI KLM E&M renewed an agreement that includes the repair and overhaul of components on Sunwing’s four new Boeing 737-800 Next Generation aircraft, with pool access and the provision of a Main Base Kit in Toronto. The two companies previously renewed their agreement in 2011. Mark Williams, president of Sunwing Airlines, said: “AFI KLM E&M has demonstrated its support capacity and I am very pleased to continue our partnership.” Marek Grzesiowski, vice president for Maintenance & Engineering at Sunwing Airlines, added: “We decided to renew our current contract, basing ourselves on the level of service, quality and flexibility of AFI KLM E&M.”
AFI KLM E&M says it is very happy to sustain their customer with strong growth potential, which has a constantly increasing fleet plan. “We are delighted to continue our relationship with Sunwing, which has become a preferred partner,” Fabrice Defrance, senior vice president Commercial AFI KLM E&M, said. “The renewal of this contract is a strong sign of their confidence in our company and the good relations that have been created between the two groups.”
