Flybe Aviation Services has chosen the fully-integrated software package AMOS to manage its entire aircraft maintenance, engineering and logistics’ requirements.
The AMOS implementation is expected to take between 12-15 months and will incorporate business process mapping, ‘gap’ analysis, data migration, key-user workshops and key and end-user staff training for 600 potential users. It will replace Flybe’s current and somewhat fragmented in-house built legacy system and leverage greater efficiencies and cost savings.
“For some years, there has been an aspiration for Flybe Aviation Services and Flybe UK to have an M&E system that can be used to leverage and exploit technological advances and in turn also satisfy our business and regulatory requirements,” says John Palmer, managing director Flybe Aviation Support. We are therefore extremely pleased that we have concluded this agreement with Swiss-AS to implement AMOS in order to satisfy the diverse and individual demands of the 20 divisional units that comprise our engineering facility.”
The fully integrated Swiss-AS AMOS system is FAA and EASA compliant.
“We are honored to have been awarded this prestigious contract to implement AMOS for Flybe that will also play a key role in supporting its planned fleet expansion,” Swiss-AS CEO Ronald Schaeuffele adds.
